Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

If you signed in to Kuppo using Facebook Login, this page explains how to permanently delete the personal data we hold about you. Kuppo is operated by DMB Soft Kft. The data deletion process below also satisfies your “right to erasure” under Article 17 of the GDPR and Meta’s Platform Terms section 3(d).


Option 1 — Delete your account in the app (fastest)

This is the recommended route. Account deletion is self-service and processes immediately.

  1. Open the Kuppo application and sign in.
  2. Open the Account settings menu.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Your account and the data listed below are removed within 24 hours.


Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access your account, send an email to info@dmbsoft.hu with the following details so we can verify your identity and locate your data:

  • Subject: Data deletion request — Kuppo
  • The email address linked to your Facebook account
  • Confirmation that you are requesting deletion of your Kuppo data

We will:

  1. Verify the request against our records.
  2. Permanently delete the data listed below.
  3. Reply confirming completion.

Timeline: within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request, in line with GDPR Article 12(3). For straightforward requests, we typically respond within a few business days.


What gets deleted

When you delete your Kuppo account (via either route), the following data is permanently removed:

  • Authentication record (Facebook user ID, email, name, profile picture URL received from Facebook OAuth)
  • Push notification tokens
  • User settings and consent records
  • User role
  • Stamp card records and associated rewards
  • Merchant–subscriber relationship records

The deletion is irreversible. Records of expired or redeemed coupons are also purged at the time of account deletion.

Merchant accounts

If your Kuppo account is a merchant account (rather than a customer account), self-service deletion is not available because the account may be linked to active loyalty campaigns and customer data. Please send your deletion request to info@dmbsoft.hu and we will coordinate the deletion together.
